This Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg (Strasbourg Cathedral) is famous for the largest astronomical clock in the world.

Episode of Strasbourg Christmas market (2)

We went to the center of Strasbourg Christmas market. We found the famous Strasbourg Cathedral. It was very big. Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg was simply awesome. The cathedral was open at night during Christmas market period. So we entered inside the cathedral. We could see the largest astronomical clock in the world. It was a little bit crowded inside the cathedral but it was ok.
The Strasbourg Cathedral was lit up at night. It was more beautiful for us.
Around the Cathedral, there were many small wooden houses. There were full of Christmas decorations in Strasbourg during Christmas market period, so just walking around the city of Strasbourg made us enjoy and feel Christmas! We could see many beautiful illuminated decorations everywhere on the street. We found illuminations of angels somewhere on the street. They were very cute. We liked them.
While we were walking, we found Santa Clause in a coach. It was interesting to see such a modern Santa Clause! Santa Clause was not on the sleigh pulled by the reindeer. He was with a horse. Santa Clause was in a coach pulled by the horse. :-)
The year when Tomo&Chouchou went to Strasbourg Christmas market, Russian Christmas was held as a special event. There was a wooden house which sold Russian dolls. There was a Russian church too. It was the church which had cute crystals of snow and warmness of woods. Russian architecture made us feel that we were in Russia!  We heard that there were special events every year. We were satisfied with Russian Christmas event.
