First, we visited Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana. It's a pink-color building with beautiful architecture. In Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, there were a library and art galleries. There were events such as modern art exhibitions or films. Around the entrance of Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, there was a statue of Mário Quintana who was Brazilian writer and translator. He became a famous poet later.

We also went to majour urban park in Porto Alegre; Farroupilha Park [=Parque Farroupilha /Parque da Redenção]. In Farroupilha park, there were a lake and a bridge, and lots of trees and green lawn. Redenção park was a very beautiful park. It is a nice place to take a rest and be relaxed.

We also visited the city's oldest public market; Porto Alegre Public Market [=Mercado Público Central de Porto Alegre]. In Porto Alegre Public Market, we could find many tropical fruits and Brazilian ingredients. It was enjoyable to see local things. In the public market, Cowboy [=Gaúcho] culture still remains, so we could find traditional calabash gourds for mate. They also sell maté[=chimarrão] in the market. We could find nice souvenirs from Rio Grande do Sul in the market.
